Yes. Independent artists and virtual-world performers can submit original music for possible airplay, artist discovery features, interviews, or related Virtual Music Network coverage.
What is your policy regarding AI-generated or AI-assisted music?
IndieSpectrum Radio and Virtual Music Network exist to support, promote, and celebrate original music created by real independent musicians and live performers.
We do not accept music that was generated wholly or in substantive part by generative artificial intelligence.
Submitted tracks must be fundamentally human-written, human-composed, human-performed, or human-produced. The use of generative AI to create lyrics, melodies, harmonies, vocals, instrumental performances, backing tracks, musical arrangements, or other substantive creative elements is prohibited.
This includes AI-generated material that has subsequently been edited, remixed, rearranged, overdubbed, or combined with human vocals or instrumentation.
Standard human-directed recording and production tools remain permitted, including traditional virtual instruments, MIDI programming, drum machines, sample libraries, equalization, compression, pitch correction, noise reduction, audio restoration, mixing, mastering, and similar processes, provided those tools do not generate or replace substantive musical or lyrical content.
Submissions that violate this policy may be rejected or removed from rotation. Knowingly misrepresenting AI-generated material as human-created may result in the loss of future submission privileges.
Can venues or event organizers share upcoming shows?
Yes. Virtual venues, event organizers, and community hosts are encouraged to share upcoming music events, special performances, artist showcases, and collaborative opportunities for possible promotion.
How can sponsors or partners get involved?
Sponsors and partners can support artist discovery, virtual events, interviews, radio programming, and community storytelling through customized visibility opportunities across Virtual Music Network, Indiespectrum Radio, and related promotional channels.
